Contemporary art
Amongst the plethora of Contemporary art - conceptual, video and installation there is certainly great art being produced. However, Julian Hartnoll calls himself an artmonger. Just as in the case of a fishmonger where the fish can be held and smelt or in an ironmonger's shop where the nails can be weighed Julian Hartnoll believes that art should be touched, seen and eventually hung on the wall.
